Elsie Koh, MD, EMHL, is a highly skilled interventional radiologist with over 20 years of experience. She serves as the chief medical officer of American Endovascular & Amputation Prevention and is a leading vascular doctor at Brooklyn Endovascular. Her mission is to prevent amputations by using advanced, minimally invasive, image-guided techniques to treat patients with critical limb ischemia and severe peripheral artery disease (PAD).
Dr. Koh earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her interventional radiology training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She was among the few women to enter the field at a time when only 1% of interventional radiologists were female.
Throughout her career, Dr. Koh has held several leadership roles, including Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and Regional Medical Officer at Fresenius Vascular Care North America. She also served as a medical officer and consultant to the executive chief medical officer at Fresenius Medical Care North America.
